Buses from Marseille Airport with Bus Routes and Times

Regular shuttle buses run from Marseille Airport to the city center, namely to the main train station in Marseille. They also connect the airport with Aix TGV, Aix-en-Provence, Saint Maime, Dauphin, Mane, Saint Auban and Saint Tropez among other direct destinations.

In Marseille city center the shuttle service starts at 4.30 am and runs every 20 minutes until 9.50 am and every 15 minutes from 10.05 am to 05.35 pm and finishes at 11.30 pm from the city center.

At the airport passengers can request a bus departure after 12.10 am at night. The service starts at 5.10 am every day and runs at 20 minute intervals until 10.10 am and from 06.10 to ten minutes past midnight. In the intervening time the service runs at 15 minute intervals.

Passengers are also offered a convenient shuttle service to the airport’s metro train station. The shuttle bus departs from platform 2 outside the MP1 terminal, in front of Halls 3 and 4. Passengers will find a ticket machine directly by the platform, but there is also a ticket desk.

The journey between the terminal and the metro station takes only 5 minutes and run every ten minutes. At the Vitrolles Aéroport MP2 train station passengers should request their shuttle bus via the intercom system.

The shuttle bus into Marseille city center travels via the motorway, making it a convenient and fast journey.

Buses from Marseille Provence Airport to Aix-en-Provence leave from platform 1 and go first to the small metro station Vitrolles Les Pinchinades, then to Aix TGV and SNCF train station, from there to Les Milles – La Duranne, which is a request stop, before finally arriving at Aix-en-Provence at the main bus terminal. The service leaves the airport every 30 minutes and the journey takes just half an hour to complete. An adult one-way ticket costs EUR 7.60, children under the age of 6 go free.

Bus journey to Saint Tropez take 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete the journey and there are only 4 daily services. The direct service is only available during the summer, from 29th June to 3rd September. The rest of the year the direct bus service runs from platform 4 at the airport to Le Luc-Le Cannet’s train station, where passengers for Saint Tropez have to take the train to complete their journey.
